Shift SRT subtitles.
Keep every word.
A free subtitle delay fixer for a constant timing mismatch. Move the whole batch earlier or later by an exact number of milliseconds, right in your browser.
Your SRT batch
UTF-8 only, including BOM. Up to 20 files · 2 MiB each · 10 MiB total · 10,000 cues total.
Set the time shift
+500 appears 0.5 seconds later.
-500 appears 0.5 seconds earlier. 0 keeps original bytes.

Download the whole batch
One ZIP. All files, all cues. Names are sanitized and receive -shifted.srt; duplicates get a number. Exact output names appear in the file list.
One offset, applied to every cue.
If subtitles consistently appear too early, enter a positive offset. If they appear too late, use a negative offset. Check the before-and-after timestamps, then download the ZIP. Importing files does not change or automatically apply your offset.
CueShift does not inspect audio or infer why subtitles are out of sync. If the mismatch changes over time, a single shift may not solve it. There is no video playback, frame-rate conversion, format conversion, or individual cue editing.

Which SRT files are supported?
Standard UTF-8 SRT, optionally with a BOM: a numeric index, a timing line like 00:00:02,250 --> 00:00:04,000, and at least one non-empty subtitle text line. Separate cues with blank lines. Hours must be 00–99, minutes and seconds 00–59, and milliseconds 000–999. Each start must precede its end. Timing-line extensions are not supported.
LF, CRLF, and CR line endings are supported. Overlapping cues and non-contiguous indexes are allowed. See the Library of Congress SRT format description.
Will the words or formatting change?
Only the two timestamps in each cue change. Subtitle text, indexes, line endings, BOM, spacing around timestamps, and blank lines are preserved. Tags are shown as plain text, never rendered as HTML. Exporting with 0 offset preserves each SRT byte for byte.
What if a shifted time is negative or too large?
The entire ZIP download is blocked if any cue would go below 00:00:00,000 or above 99:59:59,999. Change the offset or remove that file. CueShift never clamps times, drops cues, merges cues, or silently reorders subtitles.
Do my subtitles leave this device?
No. File reading, timing changes, and ZIP generation run in your browser. There is no upload service, login, analytics, or AI. CueShift is free to use.
Does the preview selection limit my download?
No. Preview shows at most 20 cues per page from one file. Download includes all cues from every file in the batch. Any invalid file blocks the whole batch until corrected or removed.
